  • http://www.facebook.com/dean.wilkinson.311 Dean Wilkinson

. Glad to get it. Good podcast

  • Sherece

I have just listened to the podcast with Chris and it was so inspirational. I will be taking a job in sales in the next few weeks and will be using what I have learned from the podcast, book, and additional materials that you have to improve my business.

  • Anthony Inzirillo

The interview was awesome and I want to learn more about how to help my team sell with purpose!!

  • http://www.facebook.com/DavidTBrannan David Brannan

I’m looking forward to changing lives in my business as well as through my ministry.

  • Phil

The interview was a awesome & I went to Barnes & Noble to read through a version they had. I have to say that putting the book down was not a option!

  • http://twitter.com/GFImagination GearedForImagination

Amazing – just listened to this interview again and heard even more the second time.

  • Michael Stevens

    Great interview!

  • http://www.blog.jpdesigntheory.com Design Theory

This was a great interview with Lisa. The example of the drug sales person who connected with a lady because the lady expressed how her life had changed thanks to these new meds was awesome. That was her purpose. Its a great way to approach “selling”. I would hope to get this Selling with Noble Purpose vook. Thank you!

  • http://www.facebook.com/mark.emerick.3 Mark Emerick

I need the book. I am in sells and believe so much in what Lisa said. Most of the training out there is so focused on closing the deal and forcing the sell. I can not wait to read the book.

  • Marcus Wondracek

This podcast was awesome! My team meets 2 times per month and we have been very blessed with our growth, but I am always listening to your podcasts multiple times to let the wisdom sink into my spirit (when I put it on in the car…my wife says “oh my can’t we listen to something fun”…to which I say “this is a whole lotta fun” :) .

This one did that as well…my team and I were discussing at our last meeting on ways that we can raise the level of our service to our real estate clients. I am looking forward to reading this book to gain greater wisdom to how to accomplish that.

One idea that I thought about as a result of this podcast was not only talking about the numbers of the potential clients in the sales agents pipeline, but also asking the agents to share at every team meeting some personal things about the newest clients under contract so that the whole team feels like they get to know about the people we are serving!

  • Barrett Young

I want to read the book to connect the dots between Simon Sinek’s Starting with Why, and selling that to potential customers.

  • Karen Moore

I love to hear that the research bears out the belief that I have that our business must have a higher purpose above the revenue.
I really thank you for the interview and the extended interview. I really could relate to the whole interview.

  • http://www.facebook.com/bryandeffinger Bryan Deffinger

I want to become a great manager .

  • coachtro

Chris / Lisa, as an area governor, of Toastmasters
International, we are always looking for new ways to improve our members experience.Using the Nobel Purpose method is a
fantastic concept focused on enablement through values. Our members grow through the value they have, personally, gained from our program and programs like yours as well. Thanks for sharing!

  • http://teamtatera.decoratingden.com/ Donald Tatera

Chris and Lisa, Outstanding podcast and book! I will implement these changes immediately to switch the entire dynamic of how I apprvery client by improving their lives! Thanks again!

  • Dana

I am a new small business owner and could really use this information.

  • Jared

I am a 4th generation owner of a family Hardware Store. I am constantly trying to find ways to communicate to our team that we have work that matters and encourage them that they can have everything they want if they will just help enough other people get what they want. I want this book because I need knowledge on how to properly manage an outside sales program as it is our best opportunity to grow and stay relevant to our customers in a market that is seeing increased competition from mass merchant big box stores and online retailers.

  • http://southernsuperfruit.com/ Chris G. Paulk

As a small business owner, I want to read this book to continue building a great team & a tribe of fans crazy about muscadines. I love this concept of Selling with Noble Purpose…we are here to serve. That is what I have been called to do…can’t wait to read the book!

  • Jesse

Thanks for this podcast! It really hit me hard, I can’t wait to read the book!

  • http://www.TexasTigerRock.com/ Steve Barkley

    Chris,

My interest in this book is to understand how to how to develop and verbalize a NSP and how to instill it in all our staff and customers. Prior to owning my own business I was in the high tech industry. For most of my career I had a “make the number” mentality driven into me. I have tended to managed my own business in a similar way, even though we have several positive success stories of changed lives. I am just looking for some help in changing how I think, because I know how I think, influences everyone else.

  • Matt Jones

I could not figure out what I was missing as a salesman until I listened to this podcast. I have lacked purpose but am determined to develop a NSP for our company.

  • http://twitter.com/Mandelicious Mandie Mutchie

The reason that I want Lisa’s book is because I am a beachbody coach. I am a diamond coach, which means that I am among the top coaches, but I really want to move to the next level. Beachbody’s mission statement (which has become my life’s mission statement) is “helping people achieve their goals and live healthy, fulfilling lives,” and I truly want to do that. My goal is to help 13 people work from home and help 101 people get healthy/achieve their fitness goals. I want to lead my team to do the same and start a ripple effect to end the trend of obesity!

  • Sheri

Podcast was amazing! Always looking for ways to be a better leader/trainer. Thank You for providing a better way to serve.

  • http://twitter.com/CheriseTaylor2 Cherise Taylor

Hi Chris! I would like a copy of Selling With Noble Purpose, because I am new internet marketing/affiliate marketing. I’ve found that it is sales, sales and more sales. I loved that Lisa said that with the right training, anyone can do well in sales! That means “anyone” includes me! Yay! I also loved that Lisa stressed the importance of caring about our customers. Those two things combined are very important to my success in my affiliate marketing business. I believe Selling With Noble Purpose in my possession will show me to become the salesperson who’s first priority is to serve.

  • http://somewiseguy.com/ ThatGuyKC

What a fantastic interview! Thank you for sharing the extended content here. All the EnterLeadership podcasts have been gold, but this one was platinum. The principle of instilling your sales team w/ purpose has so many crossover applications to other departments.

I’m trying to develop influencing and leadership skills and I think Lisa’s book would be a great training resource.

  • http://www.facebook.com/david.russell.18041 David Russell

The problem is to many people gave up on the American Dream in 2008. Even worse is those that caused the nightmare, got bailed out or benefited from it! That left many dreams broken and plans put on hold! My customers didn’t have to face many of the hardships and guests like Lisa, help remind me that what I do is important, not just for me but for my customer!

  • brandon shoop

As a young professional looking to start my career off on the right track I find everything in this Entreleadership series amazing. I feel like I am getting years on years of experience without having to repeat all the mistakes others have made in the past. “its okay to make mistakes just be making new ones”!

  • Joy Lizotte

I can’t wait to read this book to implement things in my CPA Firm. But I am also anxious to get this book so I can pass this along to clients that are struggling with sales and managing their sales force.

  • K Goddard

It is such a joy to share knowledge thank you!

  • http://twitter.com/djmays21 Daniel Mays

Chris, let me start by saying thank you for sharing all of these interviews. These have allowed me to understand what right looks like in business. I’m in the military now and trying to work my small business during my free time. This book will help me be more efficient with trying to expand my customer base and also serve the customers I have.

  • Gerry Granum

    This was a homerun!
I could use the help and create a real paradigm shift for my company and my team.
    Keep up the great work.

  • http://www.facebook.com/people/Richard-Haralson/100000209770542 Richard Haralson

I want and need to read this book. I look for ward to gleaning the information from her book and website. I have a product i am very passionate and excited about but the few times i have sold it i feel i am nervous about its price. I need to just show how excited i am for it and forget the price. I need to express my service and excitement for this product to change their life. Then the price will take care of itsself – right?

  • Rick

Great interview! For sure will change the way I manage my sales team.

  • http://twitter.com/mattchallberg Matt Challberg

Awesome podcast Chris! The past two podcasts have blown me away and have been very helpful. Right now I am outlining how I am going to implement these practices into my sales position!

  • Kevin McCoy

    Chris,

Great interview. Long time listener, first time commenter here. I cannot tell you how much the “Noble Sales Purpose” idea clicked with me. My industry (CPA) is rife with talk about becoming commoditized, probably because as Lisa said it is all about numbers.

Between this interview and Dan Pink’s book Drive, it is clear we need internal motivation (purpose) so we can differentiate and not just seek out dollars as our goal.

Keep up the great work Chris.

  • Wade_Thorson

Thanks for the great extended interview with Lisa! This book with be valuable for me in a couple ways, the obvious one is as I am working more on the growth of our company and doing the sales side I could definitley benefit from doing it for a purpose. The second area I could use this information is working with my engineering team as the work with and selll their products to internal customers that are using them. It would change the teams mindset if we started looking at the noble purpose for what we are doing. This would also bring up our customer (internal) satisfication I believe. Thanks for the information in the interviews, and I am excited to read the book.

  • Dana M.

I want to use this book to transform my office and the way we look at our clients and sales. I know why I’m in the business but I may not be as effective at communicating that all the time. I also want to show our executive team. What a great opportunity to improve an already great culture.

  • http://caroldublin.com/ Carol Dublin

Wow – just catching up but these are both such incredible interviews! So much great information, I don’t even know where to start. Love the idea of “ignite your frontal lobe” and your nurse’s mantra of “I can make a bad day ok.” That’s something we can use at GraceWorks, I think. Amazing. Thanks Chris, as always, for a great interview and a great book suggestion. Guess I”ll be downloading on Kindle…

  • Jeffrey J

I listened to the Podcast with Lisa and was just thrilled to hear what she had to say. I believe in this 100% but need to practice, practice, and then practice some more in my daily selling with a noble purpose, this is why I would like Lisa’s book.

  • Lisa

Excellent program with Lisa. I have a question: How would you address team members who believe that your service is overpriced? It is priced appropriately but that impression might be perceived by the customers.

  • http://twitter.com/goTRW Tim Watts

Lisa has a grasp on management and marketing and I leared a lot from the itnerview. I look forward to reading her book. I am new to lower management and this is the first I’ve looked into understanding marketing. The book would be very helpful.
In the past, I considered sales and marketing as dirty words. I can’t stand people pushing me so that they can get their sale. They loose my business everytime. So I never wanted to do it or be a part of it in any way. Lisa and EntreLeadership has changed my views. I am very excited to learn about this new area.

  • http://www.janabotkin.net/ Jana Botkin

I loved hearing that the “lizard brain” doesn’t know if the body or the ego is being threatened – what a great explanation, and how good to understand it isn’t some sort of personal failing, but that there is science to back it up.

Guess I’ll have to buy this book, because I really want to learn more from Lisa.

And Chris, I think it would be wonderful it you interviewed that nurse (Heather?) or wrote a blog post about her. What a gem! (And it is GREAT to see your “Bah” back in the comments!)

  • Frank

Great interview. I love the focus on people and not numbers. This mentality is what drove me away from sales early on in my career.

  • Clint

The interview with Lisa was awesome, inspiring and a very refreshing approach to the sales “chore” so necessary for every business. She has really piqued my interest and I can’t wait to hear more and see how it can improve my marketing/sales efforts.

  • http://twitter.com/NathanBrasby Nathan Brasby

I could really benefit from this book because I will be taking over the family business and as I learn and get closer to the numbers it will be easy to forget the purpose and get sucked into the numbers. And as our business grows to treat every customer (and train any new team members) with a higher purpose and to truly serve them.

  • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=779653517 Brock E Bruce

Always looking for ways to energize our business. Excited to hear your philosophy…

  • Reid Hall

Great interview Chris, as always. I want this book because I heard in this interview what I knew had to be true. If you aren’t selling to change lives and add value, you’re stealing. I want to know more about how to inspire folks to meet people’s needs. I see applications at work and with my kids at home. Thanks for taking the time to speak into my life.

  • http://www.mattmcwilliams.com/ Matt McWilliams

I cannot wait to read the book. It’s on my list now.

Chris, it is so good to see you blogging consistently again. I say that very selfishly because it benefits me. But it is so awesome to see you in my email every day lately.

    • http://www.ChrisLoCurto.com Chris LoCurto

Brother I can’t tell you how good it is to be doing it again. I miss this tribe!!

  • Matt

I need the book to get rid of all the bad selling habits I’ve been taught in the past!

    • http://www.ChrisLoCurto.com Chris LoCurto

      BAH!!! I’m with ya!!

  • http://twitter.com/MACDdaddy MACDdaddy

Great interview!! I am personally always learning and was
interested in Lisa’s sales process from the view that people are always selling something. Their ideas, their product,
their self for a promotion or job. Thank you for your continued work in entre leadership!

    • http://www.ChrisLoCurto.com Chris LoCurto

      Love it!

  • David Mike

More tools to teach my Cosmetology students the power of selling with noble purpose instead of the car sales approach!

    • http://www.ChrisLoCurto.com Chris LoCurto

Wow!! I can’t tell you how proud I am that you get that they need that!!

  • http://twitter.com/oarolin Oscar

My business needs to hit the reset button. I have though about selling this way but had not found the language and application for it. Heard the interview and it was awesome.

    • http://www.ChrisLoCurto.com Chris LoCurto

Dude, this will rock your world then!

  • http://www.facebook.com/barrow.jay Jay Barrow

Our business is changing around us and I want to learn how to become a service rock star!

    • http://www.ChrisLoCurto.com Chris LoCurto

      I like that answer. :-)

  • http://www.KidsOutAndAbout.com/ Debra Ross

I loved both the regular podcast and the extended interview! And now, of course, I want more… so that book is next on my list. I’d love to win it and share it with my team.

    • http://www.ChrisLoCurto.com Chris LoCurto

They were two powerful interviews! Thanks Debra!
