Wow, I made it?? After spending copious amounts of time in the Land of No Electricity (or internet)? This means I definitely talk too much. I will be quiet in August so other people can partake in the generosity of CLo.Thanks, Chris! Been wondering about Dillanos in spite of not being much of a coffee drinker (fear of addiction)

I am learning some fantastic stuff from this blog Chris! Thanks to Hyatt, I got introduced to this wonderful blog.

Congrats to all the Top Commenters!  Hopefully I can make the list one of these days.

    • http://specializingintheimpossible.wordpress.com/ Laura Johnson

Seo Manipulator Can’t wait to see the comments you contribute toward your top 10 goal! :)

Hey Chris, since Lily is still partaking in her “digital detox”, I think it’s only fair that she is represented here.  I’m sure if she were commenting today, she’d say that Scott should have her coffee.  I just want all of you to know that we’re here for her to support her in any way we can, even if it means taking, er….I mean….”accepting” Dillano’s coffee on her behalf. She’d want it this way.:^)

    • http://hardandsimple.blogspot.com/ Skropp

Haha. That’s very kind of you Scott!! Talk about friendship!! I may or may not have had contact with Lily this week, and she may or may not know that she won coffee. And therefore she may not feel as Scott has suggested…then again she may. I wouldn’t know ;)

      • http://hardandsimple.blogspot.com/ Skropp

Scott, I’m not saying that I have heard from Lily, but I get the feeling she may be watching blog comments. And if she was watching the comments (which I, of course, would have no knowledge of) I think she’d say “Scott, I didn’t die, I just cut my online hours way back, so no, you can’t have my coffee” Not that I would have anyway of having a direct quote from Lily! ;)

        • http://www.indueseason.net skottydog

Skropp I know how much she likes coffee, too, so it was just an elaborate scheme to get her to make an appearance!    Mmmmmmwwwwwhaa-haa-ha-ha ha ha.  (Turn pinkie upside down and touch to corner of mouth, to capture true essence of evil laugh.  Repeat.)

        • http://hardandsimple.blogspot.com/ Skropp

Ok Dr. Evil… Hahah too bad it didn’t work huh? Unless you count hologram Lily from the other post.. :) I like eloborate schemes though haha.

  • http://specializingintheimpossible.wordpress.com/ Laura Johnson

I guess it’s a good thing I didn’t make it into the top ten the month coffee was given away ;) I’m not a coffee drinker, but I’m sure my husband would’ve loved it! I DO really miss being part of the CLoBlog community! Maybe this month I’ll be able to get back in the game!!Thanks for ALL you do Chris!

    • http://hardandsimple.blogspot.com/ Skropp

Laura, you ARE part of the community!! We don’t kick you out if life gets busy ;)

      • http://specializingintheimpossible.wordpress.com/ Laura Johnson

        Aw. Thanks, Skropp :)

    • http://www.indueseason.net skottydog

Laura Johnson You’re always in the Top 10…You’re part of the CLo tribe!  That puts you in the Top 10 automatically.  (The coffee IS pretty sweet, though!  I’m still working through the 3 bags we ordered!)

      • http://specializingintheimpossible.wordpress.com/ Laura Johnson

Aw. Thanks Skotty Dawg :)Glad you like coffee!

        • http://www.indueseason.net skottydog

Like coffee? No. I “like” oxygen! I LOVE coffee! It’s always an honor to make the Top 10 list here, but I am very excited about this month’s giveaway from Chris. He is always a very generous blog host, and this month is no exception. Thanks Chris and David! Your generosity is “epic”, to borrow a phrase from Mark!

        • http://hardandsimple.blogspot.com/ Skropp

Haha. I hate that phrase… Mostly because people overuse it. Your lunch was NOT epic. That TV show probably was NOT epic. The joke your friend told at dinner was NOT epic. Know what mean? May’ve it’s just me being too uptight ;)

        • http://specializingintheimpossible.wordpress.com/ Laura Johnson

          wow. :)

        • http://specializingintheimpossible.wordpress.com/ Laura Johnson

I agree. Too many things are labeled EPIC. Usually it’s teenagers doing the overkill.

        • http://www.indueseason.net skottydog

Skropp Yes, not unlike the overuse of “Hilarious” as Louis CK illustrates!  And “genius”.   Ever hear that bit he did?  “Hilarious” needs to only be used when you laughed so hard it almost ruined your life!  (i.e; “Dude, I saw Lisa today.”  Reply:  “That’s hilarious.”   Louis CK:  “Why is that hilarious?  Is Lisa a poodle that walks around on her hind legs?”) That’s about all I can quote from Louis on this site, or I’ll get kicked off forever!

        • http://specializingintheimpossible.wordpress.com/ Laura Johnson

skottydog well…..I “love” oxygen. It helps me to actually get to live….;)

        • http://specializingintheimpossible.wordpress.com/ Laura Johnson

          skottydog Nope, never heard him.

        • http://hardandsimple.blogspot.com/ Skropp

I have not seen that, may have to look it up now :)

  • https://twitter.com/mattmcwilliams2 MattMcWilliams2

I missed the part about free coffee. That rocks! Now I have to start drinking coffee. Thanks ChrisLoCurto and coffeemaverick

    • http://specializingintheimpossible.wordpress.com/ Laura Johnson

      Not a regular coffee drinker?

      • https://twitter.com/mattmcwilliams2 MattMcWilliams2

Laura Johnson Nope. I stick to tea. I drink coffee about once every 3 years when there is no tea.

        • http://specializingintheimpossible.wordpress.com/ Laura Johnson

What kind?My staple is a hot chai latte :)

  • https://twitter.com/mattmcwilliams2 MattMcWilliams2

Congrats to all the tribe leaders. I get more from you all than you’ll ever know. Except when I tell you. Then it’s usually pretty accurate.

    • http://hardandsimple.blogspot.com/ Skropp

      Well THAT’S good to know!

  • http://www.bluebridgecomm.com/ JoelFortner

Well I guess the month I’d fall out of the top 10 had to come one day.  Oh well. And of course it would be the month you give coffee!  Okay pity party over.  Congrats to the top 10 commenters and thanks again, Chris, for your awesome blog and giving spirit!

    • http://hardandsimple.blogspot.com/ Skropp

I hereby request that all my coffee proceeds for month ending, 31 July 2012 be donated to Joel Fortner, to be disposed of at the time and duration of his choosing. Signed, Skropp, also known as Mark!

    • http://www.indueseason.net skottydog

JoelFortner NOT making the top 10 means you were busy this month.  Always a good thing.

  • JoshuaWRivers

Thanks, Chris, for all the great posts you share with us. And thanks for rewarding your servants as well! It’s a privilege to be a part of this group and learn so much from everyone.

  • http://caroldublin.com/ CarolDublin

I look forward to the dialogue every day – from Chris challenging us with such deep topics, and then the conversations that result. I learn so much more here from all the great real-life examples than from reading something in a book. Plus, I get to laugh along the way. Love being part of this tribe!

    • http://hardandsimple.blogspot.com/ Skropp

Are you saying you laugh at me??? Ouch. Haha. I thought you guys were my friends, now I find out you all just laugh at me behind my back (or openly, haha)??? ;)

      • http://caroldublin.com/ CarolDublin

Skropp Haha – not AT you – WITH you!

        • http://bretwortman.com/ Bret

          CarolDublin Speak for yourself, Carol.

        • http://hardandsimple.blogspot.com/ Skropp

HA! I saw THAT one comin a mile away Bret! And yet I still don’t have a witty comeback for it.. Dang darn dang dang darn darn!!

        • JoshuaWRivers

It’s not very nice to laugh at Skropp  also known as Mark. He’s a very sensitive guy.

        • http://hardandsimple.blogspot.com/ Skropp

It’s true. I’ve used a half box of Kleenex since Bret made his comment ;)

        • http://bretwortman.com/ Bret

Skropp Half a box? I’ll try harder next time.

        • http://hardandsimple.blogspot.com/ Skropp

          To borrow a phrase, BAH!!!

        • http://eselfemploymentideas.net/ selfemployedbob

Skropp I think we need Chris to give us an  example of what BAH sounds like on one of these podcasts.

        • http://hardandsimple.blogspot.com/ Skropp

Bob, I have some inside info that we may hear it on the bonus interview next week…. (actually it’s not inside info, he told me on twitter, haha) so TUNE IN next week!!

        • http://www.indueseason.net skottydog

Skropp can’t wait to hear the “BAH”!

        • http://hardandsimple.blogspot.com/ Skropp

It’ll be EPIC!! (I usually feel like the term “epic” is thrown around to willy nilly…but it totally applies in this instance!!)

        • http://specializingintheimpossible.wordpress.com/ Laura Johnson

Before Chris, I only saw teens using “bah””But the way Chris does it!! …it’s so CLo-riginal ;)

        • http://hardandsimple.blogspot.com/ Skropp

Ha!! I’m lovin’ that term!! “CLo-riginal” kinda rolls off the tongue!!

        • http://specializingintheimpossible.wordpress.com/ Laura Johnson

Skropp I knew it was dorky enough, you would like it…;)

        • http://hardandsimple.blogspot.com/ Skropp

So now you’re manipulating me to make me like your comments??? I feel do cheap and used… *sniffle*tear*Hahahaha

      • http://specializingintheimpossible.wordpress.com/ Laura Johnson

We know you can take it ;)

        • http://hardandsimple.blogspot.com/ Skropp

“I’m rubber and you’re glue, what you say bounces off me and sticks to you!!” wow, welcome to grade school, HAHAHA

  • http://hardandsimple.blogspot.com/ Skropp

        • http://bretwortman.com/ Bret

Skropp Glad you’ve got a great sense of humor, my brother.

  • http://bretwortman.com/ Bret

Getting involved in the discussion is easy when the conversation-starters are so great! Thanks for many thought-provoking topics this past month, Chris, and for many learning opportunities along the way.
