2. Act like I want others to act. A good leader sets the standard.
3. Write a newsletter. Sometimes I have to do things I don’t enjoy. This is one of them.

…empty myself into others. “It’s not my job to fill your cup, but to empty mine into yours.” (I think I heard this from Dave, but I can’t remember for sure!)

People always matter more. That’s why I love Dave’s hiring mantra of “look for passion over talent.”
Great point – easy to get caught up in completing the project and not focus enough on your team. Good reminder.
Admit my mistakes and show the team how to learn from them.
That’s specific for today because that’s the reality of this morning for me and our team. For a broader answer, my job is to adjust to what’s going on right now, be available, and lead accordingly. Loving all the other comments here as well. 🙂

Every Friday is praise reports (for the highs of the week) and prayer reports (for the lows of the week). So I go around to me team a collect these so we can praise or pray!
