Happy Thanksgiving

It’s Thanksgiving and while I’m glad your reading this, what’s wrong with you? Go be with your family! Wait, you might as well finish this since you started it.

Thank You

I have to say that the greatest thing I am thankful for is my salvation. Without it, nothing really matters. Knowing that I have eternal life with a Father who loves me more than I can even imagine, is a pretty amazing thing.

I can go on for days telling you about all of the things I’m thankful for, but one that you can relate to is…you. Yep. I’m thankful for you, my readers and commenters. If you know anything about me, I love teaching, educating, and all around helping people to be better. And while I never thought I would be a blogger, your responses have made this a highlight in my life.

Being able to dispense what I feel God has taught me, and then watch the INCREDIBLE comments from you folks, has been a real blessing to me. And I do have to say that I have the best commenters anywhere!! You guys don’t just leave a few words or a sentence, you leave paragraphs. Paragraphs of information that’s better than what I wrote!

The great thing about that is you pass on your wisdom to those reading the posts after you. I love it. So to my faithful followers, those who check me out from time to time, and those who just discovered me, let me say thanks. You’ve blessed me by letting me be a blessing.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

  1. Happy Thanksgiving, Mr. Locurto! Thank you for sharing your life and your wisdom with us! I feel grateful for this laptop to type on to you as well as all the things my rocking life that my Savior has afforded me! Feel blessed to have food to eat and family to share it with when so many children will go to bed starving tonight or shivering from the cold. We have so much to be grateful for—-especially as Americans—-so very much indeed! Thanksgiving always reminds me of that year after year and encourages me to give more—more than ever—both as a teacher and as a human being. I have learned this more and more since moving to Korea. So, in conclusion, keep on keeping on and congrats on all your achievements!

  2. Thank you for the great work you do with your blog.
The content that I read, is good and as an early boss used to tell me.. “dead nuts on”…
(I am not sure what it means.. but it sure seems to fit)

You inspire and empower me to help others see the power in themselves.

You are what the call a “force multiplier”

    Thank you again..

  3. I just want to take a moment to say Thank YOU Chris for being you, for the desire to teach us, lead us, and help us…just all you do for us!!! Thank You for taking time to share thoughts with us, encourage us, to inspire us, to motivate us, to give us wisdom, to bring us understanding, and most of all to share Gods love to us through you! You are a highlight in my life and I am so incredibly grateful for the opportunity to stay connected with you and many others from EntreLeadership both in the crew and attendees. That experience was one I will never forget and many times feel I need from the ground up yet again. I count you in many of my blessings and just want you to know it! Enjoy the day with your family and tell Debbie Hello from me!

  4. Your blog rocks! Thanks for posting some of the more out of the ordinary questions.

You know this blog does not seem to display real well in Firefox 8.0. IE shows just fine. Firefox does not show the comment post box. When I want to post I have to use IE. You might want to check with your web person to see if the site is using the right Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), just an idea.

      1. Now, you konw, all the cool kids use Firefox! Just saying… :).

…now if you are a Hipster you can use Chrome as well… :D.

  5. Thanks Chris I Really!!! Enjoy what you are doing with the Entreleadership podcast! I am thankful for people like you and Dave who are taking the time to pour into us to help us be all we can be! I got a lot at the entre 3-day as well, I love the Excellence !

  6. Well, I’m not reading this on Thanksgiving Day – it is the day after! And I’m thankful for my salvation also, Chris – which is a miracle equal to the parting of the Red Sea! And also for YOU, Chris! Love all you write – your wisdom and your words – and love all of your followers!

Also I am thankful for our military families- and if anyone would care to check out my blog post on “Seven Reasons to be Thankful for Our Military Families” here it is:

  7. As we continue celebrating God’s goodness in our lives, I would like to share with you the wise words of one of the famous self-help authors Melody Beattie.

“Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life.
It turns what we have into enough, and more.
It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity.
It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend.
Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today and creates a vision for tomorrow”.

I believe these words will exhort us to be more thankful in the days to come.
