We are talking about conflict in the family on todays show. More specifically – How do I get my children to get along?
We naturally think ” my kids should just get along.”
But we have to remember that with kids it’s no different than the people you work with.
The reason why kids (or anybody else) are in conflict is because they don’t’ understand each other.
Translating that into business and for your team, when we have two people that are in conflict, almost every time it comes down to the simplicity of not understanding each others personality styles.
The lies that we’re told, the lies we tell ourselves, and the lies we believe hold us back.
When you’re told specific lies from people you love, like parents or family, those words hold you back from becoming something greater or believing in yourself or becoming an entrepreneur or fill in the blank.

It’s difficult enough to be a great leader of people you don’t live with, but being a great leader of those you love, and are your family, is really hard to do.
There is nothing more important than your family.
Your business is not more important, your friends and neighbors are not more important. When it comes down to it, outside of God, family is the most important thing in life.
Being a parent and a leader is tough. Parenting as a leader can get confusing as well. Do you lead them like the people you do at work? Do you lead the people at work like you do your family? What’s the right way to do it? Here are 4 ways to be successful as a leader and as a parent when it comes to your children:
