Today, I Will Be A Leader Worth Following!

I had the pleasure of meeting and getting to know Arif Gangji when he came to EntreLeadership. Not only is he a great guy, but an incredible thinker and doer. I recently was talking with Arif about how things were going in the business, and he shared with me a motivational tool that he is using in his office.

When he told me about this, I immediately asked if I could share it with you guys. All of his team members have printed this out with their own list and hung it by their desk. What a great reminder every day of what I need to be to be a leader worth following.

Question: What items belong on your list?

    1. If someone thinks it’s corny, they probably don’t have what it takes to be a leader. I would let them know that it’s a reminder to me to be the best I can be for them.

  1. Productive! It seems there is so much work to be done that is not making art that some days it is just a fight to fit in art making activities. Today I gardened around the studio, did errands, visited with some other artists, and never did make it into the studio.

So, forget “productive” – let’s try “thankful” for a flexible schedule and variety in my work!

  2. All of the above…..in various measures, some are still a lot of work in progress, while some are almost ready for showtime. Love the list, will be printing a copy for my wall.

  3. They ALL belong on my list. And what a great reminder to have on your desk every day – thanks so much to Arif for sharing!

  4. Chris (or anyone that can help),
Do you know where I can find a version of this piece suitable for framing? It deserves a spot on the wall, any help is appreciated. Thanks!!

    P.S. Great blog!
