Welcome to the show, Nevin! He was our first podcast live call in Q&A guest! We brought Nevin back on to dive even deeper and get really practical…
If you have questions that you want answered, solutions you need, things that are holding you back… Let’s talk! I will give you the best solution I possibly can. It’s really easy. Get on the schedule here.
TODAY we are diving deeper into why entrepreneurs plateau in their business, why Nevin plateaued.
While there are common generational and external influences for many folks…this is truly a personal discovery process. Nevin and I unpack what this process looks like, here’s what we walk through together:
- Recovering from the endless cycle of people pleasing
- The universal “empty” feeling, and where it comes from
- How to get self-worth from God
- The right and wrong places to gain self-worth
This is so important…
Worth from people lasts about five minutes. Trying to make yourself feel good by making others happy also lasts about five minutes. How do you get that happiness from somewhere else? We’ve been trained. We’re programmed to think,
“If I don’t take care of them in their struggles, I’m not a caring person, I’m a bad person. Or…it’s the right thing to do.”
We have this unhealthy mindset:
My worth tanks if I’m not constantly making someone else feel better or better about themselves.
You have got to get yourself out of this place! Where should self-worth come from?
I believe your greatest worth, period, is the act of love that happened with the cross.
I want to hear from you on this! Comment below with your questions, challenges, solutions, or stories.
