There’s two of those posts I haven’t read. I’ll have to catch up on those!
@JoshuaWRivers Good! Then that part works. 🙂
Thanks Chris! As always I feel like I gain far more than I ever contribute!!
@Skropp And we all feel the same way 😉
@Lily Kreitinger @Skropp You guys contribute WAY more than you know!
@Chris LoCurto @Lily Kreitinger Seriously Chris, we’re already committed to reading your blog, the flattery and truth stretching can be discontinued at anytime 😉
@Skropp @Chris LoCurto @Lily Kreitinger I meant we all feel the same way about Skropp 🙂 Just kidding!!
@Lily Kreitinger @Chris LoCurto I don’t think you were…and I’m currently dialing my therapist…. *tear* 😉
Aww, I thought the “I’m Sorry, I’m on Vacation” post would at least rack up the most comments in June, after all the tribe here did to hijack the post into a comment-fest.
@Jon Henry Great point Jon! We should demand a recount!!! There may’ve been some “hanging chads” that skewed the numbers!!!
I have the feeling that there will be no more “blank” posts after that 🙂
@Lily Kreitinger @Jon Henry @Skropp Actually, it almost made it! I loved it. I was hoping it would, but it was like 12th.
@Chris LoCurto @Lily Kreitinger @Skropp Poor post. Killed by ONE MORE DAY of vacation that wasn’t taken…
@Jon Henry @Chris LoCurto @Lily Kreitinger Yup, at least we gave ‘er the ol’ college try!
@Chris LoCurto So you’re actually not mad at us for highjacking the blog while you were on vacation?
@Lily Kreitinger @Chris LoCurto How could he be??? We hijacked the blog, he hijacked a beach, a chair, sunscreen (cuz burning the top of your head SUCKS! Experience talkin’), and a fruity drink with an umbrella in it… Would YOU be upset? Haha
Always enjoy reading the posts and comments
Thanks Chris! Being part of the “#CLoBlog Reading Program” has been amazing. I love the power of social media, shrinking the globe so we can all sit around the table, sip some coffee (hot chocolate for Skropp) and share. Such incredible people here who want to dream big and act upon those dreams. Thanks for letting me be a part of it.
@Lily Kreitinger Ha! I completely agree!! But it could be hot chocolate OR blended hot chocolate 😉
@Skropp @Lily Kreitinger Pardon my ignorance. What is a blended hot chocolate?
@Lily Kreitinger Basically an iced hot chocolate
@Skropp @Lily Kreitinger That is too weird – if it is iced, how can it be hot? LOL!
@cabinart @Skropp Thank you, someone understands! LOL
@Lily Kreitinger @cabinart @Skropp Wouldn’t that just be like chocolate milk?
@cabinart @Lily Kreitinger It was weird to me too…but my wife made me try it and it is delicious!! I only have them like a couple times a year, but good good stuff
@Skropp @Lily Kreitinger Just don’t let her burn the milk.
@Skropp @Lily Kreitinger You need to experience traditional Mexican hot chocolate made the old-fashioned way. THAT is some good stuff.
@Lily Kreitinger Anyime you wanna bring one by and drop it off, you are more than welcome!
@Lily Kreitinger I’ll take a hot chocolate. Actually, even better would be a Dr. Pepper 🙂
@JoshuaWRivers I drink soda very very rarely. A few years ago, I was painting a mural on a very hot day, and a friend brought me a Dr. Pepper. It was the real deal, not diet. Thought I died and went to heaven. Had to just sit alone with it for awhile. I’ve never forgotten how fabulous that was! (not much of a life here in Central California)
@cabinart Must have been a very good friend!
@JoshuaWRivers @cabinart @Skropp @Lily Kreitinger BAH!!!!! Did this whole conversation happen?!?! You guys are awesome!
@Chris LoCurto @JoshuaWRivers @cabinart @Lily Kreitinger You are correct, we’re pretty cool…or a bit crazy…actually that ones probably just me…seems I cause the weird conversations!
@Skropp @Chris LoCurto @JoshuaWRivers @cabinart @Lily Kreitinger Exactly, I had a serious comment and it evolved into malt shop recipes… Good grief!
@Lily Kreitinger @Chris LoCurto @JoshuaWRivers @cabinart You can blame me 😉 but as a point of clarification, I’ve only seen blended hot chocolates at coffee stands, I’ve never checked a malt shop…mainly because I think the only malt shop still open in the country is probably in Mayberry 😉 haha
Thanks for recognizing us Chris! Always enjoy stopping by hear and learning from everyone!
True story: I was catching up on reading the blog while heating milk to make yogurt (might be a California thing) and I BURNT the milk!
Thank you Chris for your generosity in letting us guest post, providing the place to learn from you and one another, and to have fun while doing it! And thank you so much for the book – can’t wait!
Did the post “Go Be Sick Somewhere Else” raise money for the hospital in Uganda?
HA! I think we have a new blog saying!
@Joel Fortner Done!
@Lily Kreitinger @Joel Fortner @cabinart Is it “I BURNT the milk”? ‘Cause if not, that should be as well. 🙂
@Chris LoCurto @Joel Fortner @cabinart That glossary is getting quite robust. Thanks to all who contribute!
Look forward to reading Love Works! Speaking of love, thanks for loving on us with the books. Such a treat every month!
@Joel Fortner Isn’t it awesome?!! I love getting that little brown package in the mail. Christmas in July!! My daughter even talks about it, “Is that another book from Chris, Mom?” I think he has a 4 year old fan.
@Lily Kreitinger @Joel Fortner HAHAHA…YES!!! I’ll take it!!!
I need to get busy – I want to be on this list next time! I get so much out of the conversations – it’s amazing! Thanks to all of you for your generosity of knowledge.
