It has been a roller coaster ride! We had the fabulous news on Monday that the MRI showed a really good recovery in the future, only to hear that she might not make it through the night last night. With the good MRI news, we went ahead with putting in the trach and feeding tube.

Today we received great news! The MRI showed that there is no new damage other than the initial lesion. It also showed that her brain is healing. Not a lot has happened since yesterday. They turned her sedation down and she’s not as agitated with all of the equipment as she has been. They say that this is a good sign. It means that she can tolerate her injury with almost no sedation. They also sat her up for a while and
