488 | Leaving Your Job: The Right Way, The Right Time

Should I stay or should I go? That can be a loaded question when it comes to leaving your job.

Hey, it’s no secret, transitions can be stressful, especially when considering a change to employment. And not just that, but knowing how to leave a dead-end job, the right way and at the right time, can feel overwhelming.

Statistically, whether to stay or to take that leap of faith is one of the most pressing questions in today’s workplace. I mean, with so many jobs to choose from out there, how do you know what to do, when to do it, or even if you should?

Where I live, in Middle Tennessee, there are wanted signs everywhere I go. And no, I don’t mean that folks are searching for on-the-run criminals, haha! I’m talking about employers who are ready to hire (and pay) new workers! So, why are employers having such a time finding good help right now. Where have all the good workers gone?

On the podcast today, I want to walk you through a process of assessing yourself, as well as your situation, in order to figure out if you’re ready for a transition or if you maybe should stay put (and for how long). We can all use a little encouragement when it comes to an uncertain future.

Whatever your predicament, you don’t have to stay stuck in a role or at a company where you don’t fit the mold. Now may be the perfect time to prepare yourself for what’s coming up next in life. So, let’s get to work!
