Chris, if I didn’t know better I would have sworn that you talked to my mother in regards to this topic. I think it is a shame when your child is a grown adult, and I have made middle age status, and you are not taking Ephesians 6:4 to heart, then this is a relationship that is doomed to crash on the rocks of life. I know that that I was made wonderfully in the eyes of God and God’s love sometimes is the only antidote for the constant barrage of criticism that we face. I guess what I am rambling on about is when I have breathed my last that when I hear “well done thy good and faithful servant” and He wipes away every last tear that is the only thing that matters.

Keep rocking in the grip of His grace,
    Barry Mastrantonio
